Battle Symbols

Battle Symbols are a type of equipment that Librarians can earn after fulfilling certain conditions. Each Battle Symbol has a unique aspect and grants different effects when equipped. Once a Librarian fulfils a certain condition, they are permanently awarded the respective Battle Symbol that can be equipped and unequipped in the tab next to the Combat Bookshelf of each Librarian. They will also earn a corresponding Title which can then be used in Librarian Customization.

There are nine Battle Symbol Slots: Eye, Nose, Cheek, Mouth, Ear, Headwear 1, Headwear 2, Headwear 3, and Headwear 4. Only one Battle Symbol can be equipped to each slot at a time. Multiple different Battle Symbols can be earned for the same slot and the player can choose which one to equip. The visibility of each Battle Symbol can also be toggled on or off.

These Battle Symbols are obtained from Guests in receptions. The Chapter / Reception box lists which receptions or chapters which the Battle Symbol may be obtained from; more specific requirements are placed under Condition.

• Battle Symbols are similar to E.G.O. Gifts of the previous game Lobotomy Corporation. These were unique individual equipment that could be obtained by working with Abnormalities. They have a number of slots they can be equipped to, though only one of each category can be equipped at a time. Obtaining another for the same slot, it will be replaced by the new one.
• Several older Battle Symbols have been changed or renamed in later updates:
  • "The Pied Piper" Battle Symbol used to consist of a pointed rat nose in the very early versions, but was later reduced to just whiskers.
