–Mirinae | ||
Mirinae (미리내, Milinae) is the Director of Hana Association South Section 3. She first appears in the same Chapter, Episode 1.
Appearance[]
Mirinae wears the Hana Association uniform, a long 3-piece combo of a jacket, coat, and white pants with black embellishments at the bottom, likely Trigram patterns. She has long, pale brown hair tied up in a ponytail and wears glasses. She wields a spear, though she can utilise parts of her body for combat, as shown by Combat Pages like 'Augury Kick', where her body takes up the same texture as her spear, likely an ability provided to her for being in the Hana Association.
Personality[]
Mirinae is a level-headed, forward-thinking leader that delegates and controls the Hana South Section 3. She is unafraid of the Library and understands the consequences should she fail, accepting her role as director and pressing on should she die in the Library, as someone else will pick up where she left off. She also seems to show some awareness of the City's restrictions, noting that the "everyman is working overnight, restrained to the office desk", and commenting on the Library's status as 'Star of the City' as being the freest. She also displays sportsmanship to her opponents, insisting Angela shakes her and her associates hands, likely solidifying the fact the Library will be seeing the Hana frequently.
Story[]
Following the disorganisation of several key factions in the City, such as the Thumb and the Index, as well as an increase in Distortions as catalysed by Receptions from the Library, the Hana Association is tasked with investigating the Library, which had become a Star of the City. Mirinae relays to Harold and Olivier that the only real threat remaining in L Corp's Nest would be the emerging Reverberation Ensemble led by the Color fixer, the Blue Reverberation. She notes the strange occurrences that were happening simultaneously to the fall of the Liu and the Thumb, such as integration of the Vermillion Cross into the Ensemble and the dissolution of the Eight Chefs, with one member being unaccounted for. Despite the rising tensions in the city, Mirinae and the rest of Hana South Section 3 proceed to the Library to investigate its purposes and its capabilities.
