Lyrics[]

Open the curtains
Lights on
Don't miss a moment
Of this experiment
Oh, the book is strange
Like clockwork orange
Keep your eyes buttered till the end
Which "you" are you going to be?
Hmm
Inside the mirror do you see
Someone else in that body?
Dance for me
One
And two
And three
And turn around
Sit like a doggy
Till I finish my read
Cut it off, cut down your loss
All that stubborn loyalty is gonna get you killed
In a world built on convenient theories
For the puppets on TV
There is comfort in the strings
If you're gonna control me
At least make it interesting theatrically
When does it end for me?
Hmm
I think I am done with everything
Now I'm ready to leave
Dragging out
One line
Two lines
Three lines
Connect our hands
When I no longer can live on knowledge alone
You gave me strength
Hopeful curiosity
Maybe there are still happy answers left for my discovery
What's the colour of the electric sheep you see?
And if you love me
Can you love your everything too, for me?

Opening Sequence[]

The Opening begins with several bolts of light falling from the sky, the camera rolls down until Angela's face is shown, the camera then zooms into her left eye, showing they're full of tears she blinks, a obscured silhouette is seen in her eye, becoming clearer and clearer, finally clear enough to show three silhouetted person. The camera then turns to them, sitting around a table and holding cards, a light illuminated the area. The camera zooms to them until turning downwards to the table, a card is thrown down from upwards, revealed to be a Joker, after it stops moving, the illustration of a red-and-white jester puppet turns into a puppet-like Roland as the lights flashed. The camera then zoomed into the card, showing the puppet Roland hung by golden strings and seems to be standing on a lightbathing stage. The camera then moved upwards, as the same bolts of light moves upwards, stopping at Angela wearing her feather outfit, also bounded by golden strings. The camera then switches to the insides of The Library, with Angela looking at a mirror, her reflection is shown to be Carmen with her face drawn out by black lines. The camera then switches to another scene, with Roland holding a weapon (note he is wearing gloves in this scene) and bleeding, behind him were two bisected bodies and a black top hat, which may be indicating he just killed the three silhoutted charactered shown before. Then the screen shows a blue die and an orange die being thrown, before they stop, the scene was changed to show a horizontal white line, as the line rotates itself to vertical, two Angela emerged from it back to back, one being the present Angela (Library Director) and the other being the past Angela (Assistant A.I.), the two all seems to reach their hands towards the front, the background is also seperated into two parts, Director Angela is facing light while darkness is everything in front of Assistant Angela. The scene then changes to Roland, heavily wounded and seems to be surrounded by a large number of enemies (depicted as black silhouttes with red eyes) as the camera zooms away, the screen then shows the two dices shown before, blood spattered from left and some of the blood were left on them (the blue die rolls 1 and the orange die rolls 4), then the Roland Joker card was shown, finally a bookmarked book and a feather pen was shown, both spattered on by blood.

Trivia[]

  • The contents of the bookmarked book on the right side is meaningless random letters and numbers, and on the left side is from a aria called Lascia ch'io pianga (means "Let me Cry"), which originates from an opera Rinaldo by George Frideric Handel, sung by the female protagonist Almirena when she is crying for her fate.
    • The lyrics were:

Lascia ch'io pianga
mia cruda sorte
E che sospiri la libertà
E che sospiri
e che sospiri la libertà
Lascia ch'io pianga
mia cruda sorte
E che sospiri la libertà
Il duolo infranga
queste ritorte
de miei martiri
sol per pietà
de miei martiri
sol per pietà
E che sospiri la libertà!
E che sospiri la libertà!

  • The lyrics "Like clockwork orange" and "What's the colour of the electric sheep you see?" both refer to novels.
  • The three figures holding the cards appear to be (from left to right) Kalo, Philip, and Arnold
  • The song comes in 2 versions, the shortened version used for the game's intro heard ingame and on Project Moon's youtube channel (The lyrics of which are the ones shown above), and an extended version featured in the game's official soundtrack on Steam and on Mili's youtube channel (the lyrics of which can be found in other places online).
